The Children’s Hour was my first lighting design and to some degree my first true opportunity to create my own art through the medium of light. It was the first time I sat in a dark room with a torch an upside-down cup on a table and began to explore lighting angles. This is a show I will always hold very dearly in my heart.

The play was co-designed with Charlotte Aslesen.

The Children’s Hour won BEST LIGHTING DESIGN for the academic year 2017/2018 from nine separate productions produced by U.C.C. Dramat.
